New Jersey Wedding Band

Everything you want to know before you book.

Transparent answers on pricing, availability, song requests, and how booking a New Jersey wedding band actually works. No jargon. No pressure.

Pricing

What's the price range for a New Jersey wedding band?

+

Our packages start at $6,800 for a 4-piece and scale to $18,000+ for a 10-piece with horns and strings. The honest answer: most NJ couples invest $9,000–$13,000 for the band that makes the entire night. We send transparent pricing the same day you inquire.

Are there any hidden fees?

+

No. Every package includes travel within New Jersey and NYC, full PA and lighting, wireless mics for toasts, DJ between sets, and a dedicated MC. The price we quote is the price you pay. No surprise charges for 'premium dates' or extra power drops.

What does the deposit cover, and is it refundable?

+

The 20% deposit locks your date and reserves your musicians. It's non-refundable — but if we need to reschedule due to an emergency on our end, we transfer it to any available date within 18 months at no penalty.

When is the final balance due?

+

The remaining 80% is due 30 days before your wedding. We accept checks, wire transfers, and all major credit cards.

Availability

How far in advance should we book a wedding band in NJ?

+

Most of our Saturdays for next year are gone by January. Peak dates in May, June, September, and October sell out 12–18 months ahead. If your date is within 6 months, send it now — we'll know within 24 hours.

Do you play Friday or Sunday weddings?

+

Yes — and they're often more flexible on package upgrades. Fridays and Sundays can be a smart way to get a larger band for the same investment.

What if our date changes after we book?

+

We move dates at no charge if the new date is available. If it's already booked, we hold your deposit for 18 months so you can reschedule without losing it.

Do you travel outside New Jersey?

+

Yes. Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, the Hamptons, Hudson Valley, Bucks County, the Jersey Shore, and the Poconos all travel with no fee. Destination weddings are quoted on request.

Song Requests

Will you learn our first dance song?

+

Yes — included in every package. We've learned Bollywood ballads, indie folk, K-pop, klezmer, and one couple's grandfather's original 1962 demo recording. Send us the song. We'll make it yours.

Can guests make song requests during the reception?

+

Absolutely. We take requests all night — and more importantly, we know which ones will keep the floor full and which ones will clear it. Our MC coordinates with you ahead of time on any must-plays or do-not-plays, and we read the room in real time.

Can we choose every song in the setlist?

+

You pick the must-plays and the do-not-plays. We build the arc. A great wedding set reads the room, shifts energy, and keeps the floor full. That only works when the band can improvise within your taste — not play a rigid playlist.

Do you play ceremony and cocktail hour music too?

+

Yes. Our mid- and full-size packages include acoustic ceremony music, cocktail jazz trio, or string quartet. Every package includes DJ service during breaks so there's never silence.

Booking Process

How does the booking process work?

+

Step 1: Send your date and venue. Step 2: We reply within 24 hours with availability and transparent pricing. Step 3: Watch our unedited reception footage. Step 4: Lock your date with a 20% deposit. Two planning calls plus a song-by-song timeline review are included.

Can we see you live before booking?

+

We host 2 invite-only showcases a year for booked and seriously-considering couples. Otherwise, ask for our private link to 6 full unedited reception videos — not sizzle reels. You'll see exactly what your guests will see.

What if a musician gets sick on our wedding day?

+

Every player has 2 vetted subs on call. In 600+ weddings we've never missed a downbeat. Your contract guarantees a full ensemble or your money back — in writing.

How long do you typically play?

+

Standard packages include up to 4 hours of live music. Our 7-piece and 10-piece packages extend to 5 and 6 hours. We arrive 3 hours early for setup and soundcheck — no extra charge.

Do you work with our wedding planner?

+

Yes. We share a detailed run-of-show 4 weeks out and do a final timeline review 10 days before. Most of our NJ couples use planners — we know how to fit into a seamless production.
